1% - Big Sword Claymore!!! - Fanart - yeah big surprise ~ *extreme sarcasm*
hahah its always annoys me when i move backwards but this time its not that bad. well on the quest to do this fan art i remembered that this was based of a manga (reference material).... like most anime. So i did a little poke around and read some of the fan translated chapters on-line. And i was like wow the anime is just the tip of the ice berg, the manga goes 7 years into the future and a big twist in the story gets reviled about the organization the yoma and the claymores. also one of the more noticeable things was the the main characters outfits [clare mirira helen deneve, few others ] who have now completely separated themselves from the organization and not only that they are on a quest to destroy the organization itself. i brought the subject about the out fits because by the time i had finished a few chapters it was vary hard for me to want to draw them how they used to look like. (hehe gives me the up - to - date feeling. plus Miria and Clare have side cut mini skirts... sad sad little man. )

plus their was Priscilla, i was a little torn to either draw her in her awakened or her human form... but seeing how she she looks now... well for the last seven years she has been traveling with Raki(He has most defiantly grown up now, and he knows how to swing a sword... a Broad sword to be exact. X3) it seems she has been refusing to eat (anyone who watched or read the series knows what i mean by eat.... GUTS XD) probably so it wouldn't upset Raki so she would be allowed to travel with him. anyway to the point is she's tiny now. to Raki she only comes up to his waist and he carries her around on one shoulder. Which is just too cute to ignore.... Mini Priscilla.

To the point
any way as to when this one will be completed..... lol its even more of a i don't know. Mainly due to the last version i was working brought it to my attention (as a few other artworks lately) that it has more to do with my skill/abilities then time. is seems that i lack a little thing called consistency with style and practice with the skill that is required to bring multiple characters and put them on the same page and have them fit together and look to be part of the same picture. (grrrrrr ... GRRRRRR!1!)
So for the last couple of days i have been practicing.. drawing the same poses and faces over and over again. I think I've drawn the same 3/4 view of deneve nilly 30 times.. drawing the guides to every one... it already looks to have started to bare fruit. the last couple I've been drawing the style seem to be identical (*rolls along the floor for a bit, in joy*) so i will start doing more practice on the multiple character problem soon... heh so when that's finally done I'd probably start to work on this...
LOL YEAH I KNOW VERY REASSURING, BUT THE WHOLE PURPOSE FOR DOING THE ARTWORK IN THE FIRST PLACE WAS TO MAKE THINGS HARD FOR ME.

heh i seem to be in a writing mood... no matter how horrible my writing skills are.
anyway back to work.

Progress still being slow, heh you could almost say that I'm still at the same point i was at a few days ago. its been mostly just me redrawing everything, well at least Clare is almost done; it's mainly just her hand, sword, finishings on her hair and her logo to do. Then i can finally get my ass over to Miria in which i can already tell that her hair is going to be a complete nightmare to do... =_=;

its kind of interesting the difference's between the last preview and what she looks like now. and i can already see that there may be things that i need to change in her again.. one of them being her face looks a little pale so I'm gonna have to "put the color back into her face".
which is kind of annoying considering how much effort I've put in... eh oh well...

So far a ridiculous amount of time has gone into it and it looks to me, that its going to take a few more days to complete.... +_+ ~urghhh

heh now that I started to get the grasp of colouring and digital painting I felt like I needed to work on something a little bigger then my usual. And it ended up being a “Claymore” fan art, only cause it felt to me that the show wasn't as popular as it should have been..... well at least I haven't noticed many fan works. So I decided to give the show some love.

Though I will be honest I have no idea when it will be done, and that if I will have the determination to work on it till its done. Especially since I've like redrawn and coloured everything that I've done so far twice.... which almost feels like going nowhere

its gonna have a few characters in it which is something I need to do more of.
